Australian Ethical appoints Ethics Analyst

Australian Ethical Investment has announced the appointment of Amanda Richman as an ethics analyst, effective February 2018.

Previously, Richman was a senior associate at Allens law firm. Prior to this, she was chair of the NSW Young Lawyers Animal Law Committee and a senior lawyer at the Animal Law Institute.

According to a statement from Australian Ethical, "Amanda intends to use her legal training and six years of commercial experience to critically assess investment opportunities and advocate for change."

She joins fellow new appointees, equities analyst, Deana Mitchell and head of communications, Dimity MacDonald.

These three senior female appointments come on the back of Australian Ethical's attainment of 50% gender representation on the Australian Ethical Investment board.
