Former Cbus chief executive and current AMP Capital deputy CEO David Atkin has stepped down from his post as chair with SuperFriend.

He's been replaced by current Bank of Melbourne chair Elizabeth Proust.

SuperFriend chief executive Margo Lydon thanked Atkin for his contributions over the last three years. "SuperFriend and Cbus will continue to have a close relationship and we thank David for his outstanding contribution to our continued growth and success. We wish David the very best in his next career step and look forward to seeing what he does next."

Atkin stepped down from Cbus in mid-2020 and took the role with AMP Capital later that year.
