Atkin joins ME Bank board
Former Cbus chief executive and recently-appointed AMP Capital deputy CEO David Atkin has joined the board of ME Bank.
The position is a new one for the board as a seat was added following the retirement of John Nesbitt.
Atkin is joined on the board by former Westpac COO John Arthur.
ME Bank chair James Evans says that Atkin's experience in the Australian financial services industry will provide value for ME Bank. "He has a demonstrated track record of leading growth and transformation projects that create long-term sustainable value for customers and stakeholder, for some of Australia's largest financial services businesses."
Atkin left his role as chief exec of Cbus in late 2020. He's also currently the chair of SuperFriend and previously held a board position for ASFA, Frontier Advisors, and Principles for Responsible Investment.
