Angus takes on new challenge at Iress

Iress has appointed Warwick Angus to a new role in the business. He's now the head of corporate development and market infrastructure and is charged with driving the strategy to grow and scale market infrastructure in Australia. In particular, he'll deliver end-to-end unlisted investment capability leveraging the combined expertise of OneVue and Iress.

Angus joined Iress in early 2020, shortly before Iress acquired OneVue.

"Our acquisition of OneVue represents a unique opportunity to combine Iress' technology footprint with OneVue's market-leading managed fund admin business," said Iress CEO Andrew Walsh. "I have been impressed with Warwick's ability to garner the support of the financial services industry and am pleased to secure his expertise in realising this significant opportunity."

Angus previously held senior roles at AMP, EY, and Computershare in addition to his own consulting and advisory firm.
