AMP Capital CFO/COO to depart for UK

AMP Capital has announced the departure of chief financial officer and chief operating officer, Margaret Payne, who is returning to the UK for family reasons.

Payn joined AMP Capital as CFO in January 2013 and was appointed to the additional role of COO in March 2016 following the firm's decision to combine its operations and finance functions.

Commenting on her departure, AMP Capital CEO, Adam Tindall, said: "I'd like to thank Margaret for her outstanding contribution to AMP Capital as CFO and COO. She has been instrumental in helping us to grow internationally and leaves our business in great shape."

Payn's successor is John Patrick (JP) Moorhead, the former London-based COO of Fidelity International's investment arm, Eight Roads. Payn will transition her responsibilities to Moorhead when he joins AMP Capital on 30 April 2018 in London. Moorhead will then relocate to Sydney in June.
