AMP appoints Group Exec Technology & Operations

AMP Limited has announced a series of changes to its senior leadership, including the appointment of Craig Ryman as group executive, technology and operations.

Ryman is currently AMP's chief information officer, a role he was appointed to in January 2015 from his previous role as the firm's IT director product & advice. In his new role, effective 1 January 2017, he will assume an expanded portfolio combining IT and operations.

Commenting on the announced changes, which include several new appointments and three executive departures, AMP chief executive Craig Meller said: "The new group structure delivers sharper focus on performance in the core Australian businesses, drives efficiency across the group and provides increased emphasis on the growth drivers in the portfolio."
