AMP appoints Chief Client Officer for new AWM leadership team

AMP has announced five key appointments to its Australian Wealth Management leadership team, including the appointment of Ant Dureau as chief client officer, effective mid-April 2019.

Dureau was previously AMP's acting director strategic marketing & customer experience.

Commenting on his experience, AMP said that Dureau "has a strong history of driving large-scale projects with expertise in brand, acquisition, client and channel management."

The other new appointees are: Lakshman Anantakrishnan as chief investment officer; Fraser Herd as managing director, client relationships; Jen Thomas as chief operating officer; and Lara Bourguignon, as chief executive officer, SuperConcepts.

The team will report to Alex Wade, AMP CEO, Australian Wealth Management.
