Allianz Retire+ adds to board

Allianz Retire+ has appointed Sally Evans as an independent non-executive director to their board.

Evans has held several directorships in the retirement and aged care space in recent years. She was appointed to the Rest board in 2018 and served for several years on the Opal Specialist Aged Care board.

Her executive experience includes several years with AMP as head of retirement and investment director with AMP Capital. She was also a director at Westpac's institutional bank.

"Sally's leadership and significant experience working in the retirement, ageing, and healthcare sectors serves to greatly enhance the diverse expertise on the Allianz Retire+ Board," said chair David Plumb.

"Sally possesses a deep understanding of our operating environment, spanning the breadth of challenges that come with retirement. Her strong commercial acumen and proven track record in delivering sustainable financial and social outcomes will be of tremendous benefit to Allianz Retire+, as the business enters its next stage of growth."
