Alium Capital tags COO from Watermark

Watermark Funds Management COO Tim Bolger has moved to investment fund Alium Capital Management.

Launched in 2017, Alium Capital looks after the Alpha Fund and Market Neutral Fund. Bolger says it is the company's growth trajectory that appealed to him.

"The attraction for me was to join a growing firm with a genuinely differentiated product suite and bring my experience to bear in bolstering the operational platform to support further growth. I will also have responsibility for Alium's distribution effort. I have spent the last 10 years distributing hedge fund strategies and feel very strongly that alternative investment strategies, such as those that Alium offers, will be increasingly relevant in the years to come as the impacts of unconventional monetary policies come to bear on asset markets."

Before joining Watermark in 2014, Bolger held BDM and sales roles with Bennelong Funds Management and Macquarie Funds Group.
