Aberdeen Standard's Australian fixed income head departs
Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has confirmed the departure of head of Australian fixed income, Nick Bishop, effective February 2019.
Bishop, who spent 20 years with the global fund manager - the last five as head of Australian fixed income - has moved to a new role as a managing director and head of corporate credit at Gresham Funds Management. Bishop's focus in the new role will be on loans and other debt investments, involving non-property corporate borrowers.
Succeeding him at ASI is Singapore-based Adam McCabe. McCabe leads ASI’s Asian fixed income operations and has assumed the role of head of fixed income Asia and Australia following Bishop's departure.
