Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has confirmed the departure of head of Australian fixed income, Nick Bishop, effective February 2019.
Bishop, who spent 20 years with the global fund manager - the last five as head of Australian fixed income - has moved to a new role as a managing director and head of corporate credit at Gresham Funds Management. Bishop's focus in the new role will be on loans and other debt investments, involving non-property corporate borrowers.
Succeeding him at ASI is Singapore-based Adam McCabe. McCabe leads ASI's Asian fixed income operations and has assumed the role of head of fixed income Asia and Australia following Bishop's departure.
