Aberdeen promotes investment director

Aberdeen Standard Investments has promoted their investment director to head of Australian fixed income investments.

Garreth Innes replaces Nick Bishop, who went to Grisham earlier in the year.

ASI's head of fixed income for Asia and Australia Adam McCabe says they're excited to have Innes in this new role because he "is a highly experienced investor and well known to clients and the broader market."

McCabe also says the company's ability to promote from within speaks to the depth of their bench. "The ability to make an internal appointment reflects the calbire of the local team and our strategy to grow and recognise talents."
