New GM Financial Planning appointed to Commbank

Commonwealth Bank has appointed Hugh Humphrey to the position of general manager, bank financial planning, responsible for licensees Commonwealth Financial Planning and BW Financial Advice.

Humphrey will join the Advice team on 4 February, 2016, from AMP, where he was director, strategy & transformation for the Advice, AMP Bank & Corporate Super Business. Previously he was managing director of Hillross Financial Services.

Commenting on the appointment, executive GM wealth management advice, Marianne Perkovic, said: "Hugh has more than 15 years' experience in the financial services and telecommunications industries with a strong track record in leading transformational programs for both retail customers and financial advisers.
